FBC SHERIDAN PRESCHOOL MINISTRY

(Birth up to school age)

Welcome to the Preschool Ministry of First Baptist Church. Our ministry to preschoolers begins laying the foundation for understanding the purposes of the church: Worship, Ministry, Evangelism, Fellowship and Discipleship. We want to take advantage of the optimal learning time in each child's life. This goal is accomplished through all areas of our Preschool Ministry. Preschoolers are able to learn about God's love during several opportunities:

Extended Worship Childcare (for Pre-K children)

Each Sunday during the Worship Sermon

Sunday School

 Each week at 10:45 a.m.

Preschool TeamKID

Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Extended Worship Childcare is a ministry available for Pre-K children. Infants and preschoolers may be escorted to the nursery area following the music portion of our Worship Service.  Preschool employees of FBC and caring volunteers teach simple Bible concepts to the children each week. Volunteers work on a rotating schedule. Parents and grandparents of preschoolers are encouraged to serve as volunteers in Extended Worship Childcare when possible.

Sunday School: The purpose of our preschool Sunday School program is to introduce young children to basic Bible truths in a fun, safe environment. Sunday School is available each Sunday morning for all preschool children. There are four classrooms including: Babies, Toddlers, 2-year-olds, and 3 & 4-year-olds. The FBC Sunday School teachers are caring adults who prepare each week to give their best to each child.

Preschool TeamKID for children whose parents are participating in Wednesday evening ministries at FBC. TeamKID meets each Wednesday evening (from September through May) at 6:30 p.m. in the preschool wing of the church. TeamKID is a discipleship program that teaches biblical principles through stories, games, and Bible verse memorization on a preschool level.
