WELCOME TO THE

FBC SHERIDAN WEBSITE

We are a Southern Baptist church located in Sheridan, AR

Our church family exists to love God and others by making disciples who abide, pray, worship, grow, and serve.

The Bible tells us church members are family. God is our Father, we are His children, and we are brothers and sisters in Christ. As a family, we are committed to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love others as ourselves (Mark 12:29-31). We believe the best way to show our love for God and others is to follow the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus, who commanded us to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey Him (Matthew 28:18-20). Being a family of disciples of the Lord Jesus means that we:

  • Abide-We find our identity and significance in Jesus alone. Someone who abides is in an ongoing ever-growing intimate relationship with Jesus.
  • Pray-We pray according to Scripture; primarily for God’s will to be done.
  • Worship-We worship in all that we do wherever we are.
  • Grow-We grow in obedience, grace, and knowledge according to God’s Word both individually and corporately.
  • Serve-We serve one another and the lost primarily by making disciples as well as meeting physical needs.

We invite you to join us! Please browse through the various areas of our website to learn more about the ministries of our church.
