WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT WHILE VISITING OUR CHURCH
Visiting any church for the first time can be confusing and overwhelming. Here’s some information that might make your experience a little easier.
Our Sunday schedule: Our Worship Service begins at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. Afterwards (around 10:45 a.m.) we encourage everyone to dig deeper into God's Word in Sunday School.
As you arrive: Pull right on in to our parking area, feel free to park in any available spot, but we do have some visitors' spots near the front main entrance. You may enter the building through the front main entrance, the south entrance under the drive-through closest the church office, or the north entrance under the drive-through by the preschool area.
As you enter our building: A member of our Connect Team will greet you with a friendly smile. Please let them know you are a first-time visitor, and they will gladly direct you to the sanctuary for worship and may suggest a Sunday School Group for you to attend following our time of worship.
For your little ones: During our service, we provide nursery care in the preschool area on the North end of the church for infants and children up to five years old. Children are separated by age and development to allow for a comfortable, safe place for your child. Trained and screened workers will lovingly care for your child and lead them in age-appropriate Bible activities. Infants and preschoolers may be escorted to the nursery area following the music portion of our Worship Service. We have a breast-feeding room for nursing mothers if that is a need.
What to wear: We really don’t have a dress code, so come dressed in whatever you feel comfortable.
Our worship services: We usually begin with a few announcements about upcoming events, followed by scripture memory, and a Missions Minute. Praise and Worship Music is an important part of our church worship. We sing a blend of traditional Christian hymns along with current, modern worship music. During the service, we encourage our members to give their tithes and offerings by placing them in Giving Boxes located at the entrances to the sanctuary. (This is usually done during the Praise and Worship time.) As a guest, you are certainly not obligated to give! Finally, and most importantly, you will hear a message from God’s Word. Visitors are asked to meet with Pastor Thomas following the Worship Service in the front lobby where we have a gift for your family.
